RedRock 24g CO2 Cartridge — 1/2" Threaded

• THREADED NECK, NOT BAYONET: This 24 gram cylinder screws into the inflator. It will not fit bayonet twist-lock inflators, even though both are sold as "1/2 inch." Confirm which neck your inflator uses before ordering.
• CHECK YOUR VEST FIRST: The required cylinder weight and neck type are printed on the bladder or inside the cover of your inflatable PFD. Both must match. Fits automatic and manual inflators specified for a 24g 1/2 inch threaded cylinder.
• WILL NOT FIT: Bayonet-neck inflators, hydrostatic inflators with a cylinder sealed to the unit, any 3/8 inch threaded cylinder, or any vest calling for 33g or 38g. An undersized cylinder will not fully inflate the bladder.
• DOT-39 SINGLE USE: Non-refillable cylinder holding 24 grams of CO2 by fill weight, sealed until pierced. Replace after every inflation, including a water test. Never reinstall a pierced cylinder.

BEFORE YOU ORDER Inflatable PFDs use two different 1/2 inch cylinder necks that look similar and are not interchangeable. This cylinder is THREADED - it screws into the inflator. Bayonet-neck inflators use a twist-and-lock cylinder and will not accept this product. The cylinder weight and neck type your vest requires are printed on the bladder or inside the cover. Both must match.

WHAT IT FITS Automatic and manual inflators specified for a 24 gram, 1/2 inch threaded cylinder. This is the size used by most inflatable belt packs and inshore vests, typically rated near 22 to 24 pounds of buoyancy.

WHAT IT DOES NOT FIT Bayonet-neck inflators. Hydrostatic inflators where the cylinder is sealed to the unit. Any 3/8 inch threaded cylinder - a different standard used by bike inflators and 16g and 25g PFDs. Any vest calling for 33 or 38 grams; an undersized cylinder will not fully inflate the bladder.

SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE CO2 cylinders are single use. Replace after any inflation - emergency, accidental, or a water test - and never reinstall a pierced cylinder. Inspect for corrosion and check that the pierce face is intact before every outing. Replace unused cylinders every five years. Automatic inflators also use a bobbin, a separate wear item with its own replacement interval.
