Privacy Policy
This explains what RedRock Gas collects when you use www.redrockgas.com, why we collect it, and who else sees it. Last updated August 2026.
Who we are
RedRock Gas (RedRock Distributing) sells compressed gas cartridges online, shipping from Saint Cloud, MN. You can reach us at orders@redrockgas.com or (320) 204-4911.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, email address, shipping address and billing address
- What you bought, the amounts, and the order date
- A payment reference from our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered on Stripe's or PayPal's systems, not ours
- Your IP address and the country it resolves to, used only for fraud screening
When you create an account
Your email address, a securely hashed password, and your order history.
When you contact us or request bulk pricing
Your name, email, phone number if you give one, company name, and your message.
Automatically, as you browse
- Pages viewed, and how you arrived (referring site, and any campaign tags in the link)
- Browser and device information, via analytics
- Cookies, listed below

Analytics providers listed below may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the cart and sign-in ones are needed for the shop to work.
Fraud screening
Every order is screened before it ships. We look at the payment processor's own risk score, whether the email domain is a known disposable one, whether billing and shipping match, order value and quantity, and whether the same details have ordered before. An order that looks risky is held for a person to review — it is not rejected automatically. We do this to protect cardholders and ourselves from stolen-card use.
Who else receives your information
We share only what each provider needs to do its job. We do not sell your data.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for at least seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data follows each provider's own retention settings.
Your choices
- See what we hold. Email us and we'll tell you.
- Correct it. Sign in to your account, or ask us.
- Delete it. Ask us and we'll remove your account and personal details. We must keep order and tax records we're legally required to retain.
- Stop marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link, or just tell us. Order and shipping confirmations aren't marketing and will still be sent.
- Turn off analytics. Use your browser's cookie controls or a do-not-track extension.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights — for example, California residents under the CCPA. Contact us and we'll honour them.
Age restriction
Nitrous oxide products are sold for culinary use only and only to adults aged 21 or over. We ask you to confirm your age at checkout when your basket contains them. This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Card numbers never reach our servers. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Access to customer data is limited to people who need it to run the business. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
